Moisture content: 13.0% max (AGMARK 'Special'), 14.0% max ('Standard'), 15.0% max ('General'). Codex allows up to 18% for seedless styles.
Damaged raisins: 1.0% max (Special), 1.5% max (Standard), 2.0% max (General). Codex ceiling is 5%.
Immature / undeveloped raisins: 2% max (Special), 4% max (Standard), 6% max (General). Codex ceiling 6% for seedless.
Sugared raisins: 5.0% max (Special), 10.0% max (Standard), 15.0% max (General). Codex ceiling 15%.
Cap-stems: 20 max (Special), 40 max (Standard), 50 max (General) for seedless. Codex ceiling 50 per 500 g seedless, 25 per 500 g seed-bearing.
Pieces of stem: Absent (Special), 2 max (Standard), 4 max (General) for seedless. Codex ceiling 2 per kg.
